  • Information about Excursion and Transportation to Kansai Airport on Oct. 5

To participants who will join Excursion on 5th Oct.

The detailed schedule of excursion is not completely fixed yet, but we tentatively plan it as below.

Depart from conference venue in the morning.
Visit to Kyoto (2-3 places) until ~18:00.
Transfer to Osaka for hotel accommodation. ~19:00

Because the conference venue (Doshisha Biwako Retreat Center) is not convenient for Kansai Airport, we would like to arrange your hotel accommodation in Shin-Osaka or near Kansai Airport on the night of 5th Oct. We will go to Kyoto for Excursion and directly move to Osaka (to check in the hotel) without going back to the conference venue. You can reach Kansai Airport from Shin-Osaka by train (Limited Express Haruka) in 1 hour.

Transfer from Kyoto to Kansai Airport will take about 2 hours.
We would recommend to stay one more night in Osaka.
But if your flight is very late night (ex. after 23:00) on Oct. 5, you may not need to stay one more night.

To participants who will leave for Kansai Airport on 5th Oct.

※It will take about 2.5 hours from the conference venue (Doshisha Biwako Retreat Center) to Kansai Airport.
